LED Technology

Light-emitting diodes (LED) is a technology that cuts down on the generation of heat and uses energy more efficiently. LED TVs may use as much as 30 percent less electricity than LCD TVs. Producing 3D Images

Allowing a viewer to see an image in 3D when it is really displayed in 2D is a matter of tricking the brain. Television that is shown in 3D must be viewed with special glasses in order for the viewer to get the full effect. Images in 2D are separated with horizontal and vertical polarization. The image will appear to be distorted and the color will be off if a person does not wear special glasses to view 3D television.
